# Custom Ping
With this system, you get an auditory notification, in the form of a bing. When a certain phrase is written in the chat. This makes it easier to notice when you are mentioned in the chat and you are less likely to miss such messages.
### How can I turn on notifications?
Enter /settings in the chat, the following menu will open:
The icon with the bell is for the ping notification: By default it is set to , so you will receive a notification when your name is spelled exactly like this in the chat.
With another click it changes to , this will give you a notification when an @ is written in front of your name. For example @DominionLp.
With another click, it changes to , but the button is grayed out if you don't have at least the  rank.\
Here you can set up to three phrases for which you want to receive a notification. Just click on the bell ().
The following window will open:
Click on to open the next window where you can set your phrase:
Just replace "phrase" with the word or string you want to be notified for. For example, this could be a commonly used abbreviation for your name.
