How do I join Landania?

Here you can find out everything you need to know about joining our server.

Device Compatibility

Java Edition

The Java Edition is the best way to play on Landania, as our server is based on Java and has been optimized for Java players.

You can play on Landania with both a PC and a laptop if the device meets the minimum requirements for Minecraft. However, as these are low, you will be able to play safely on our server.

Bedrock Edition

We also support the Bedrock Edition on Landania. So you can also play with the following devices on Landania:

  • Smartphone & Tablet (iOS & Android)

  • PC / Laptop (Windows Edition)

  • PlayStation

  • VR

Other devices that are not listed here may also be compatible. Give it a try! If a device is not compatible and you cannot join Landania, please contact support.

Be aware that we have only recently connected the Bedrock Edition and that bugs may occur. For the best possible experience on Landania, we recommend playing with the Java Edition on a PC or laptop.

Minecraft Version

To play on Landania, you need Minecraft version 1.19 to 1.20.1. If you want to join our server via the Bedrock Edition, you do not need to pay attention to the Minecraft version if you keep the app up to date and install the app updates.

Server Address

You can access the server via the server address landania.net. Leave the default port 19132 unchanged for the Bedrock Edition.

Add the Server

Java Edition

Bedrock Edition

The server name must be entered when adding a server in the Bedrock Edition. It is up to you what you enter there. In the best case, simply use Landania.

Join Server via a Console

If you want to join Landania via a console such as your PlayStation, Switch or Xbox, you will need to change the primary DNS server to connect to external Minecraft servers such as Landania.

When you change the primary DNS server of your internet connection, you do not make any critical changes and there are no disadvantages for you.

Below you can find out how to change the primary DNS server, depending on the device.

Nintendo Switch

  1. Go to the system settings

  2. Scroll down and select the menu item Internet

  3. Then select Internet settings

  4. A network search will now be started. Please be patient.

  5. Select the internet connection you are connected to

  6. Then go to Change settings

  7. Scroll down and select Primary DNS server

  8. Delete the number combination in the input field

  9. Now enter the following number combination: 104.238.130.180

  10. Click on the big green Save button

Now you need to go to your games and open Minecraft. After you have logged in with your Microsoft account (if you have not already done so), you can now follow the further steps that we have shown visually in the form of a video under Add the Server.
